Bihar News: 5 cyber fraudsters arrested for cheating on the promise of cheap mobile.

Bihar News: Police have arrested five criminals of international cyber fraud gang from Motihari. Police have recovered 11 mobile phones and one laptop from them. Many shocking revelations have emerged during the investigation and interrogation of the mobile phones recovered from the criminals. Evidence has been found that these arrested criminals have links with Pakistan.

Mobile phones revealed many secrets of cyber fraud

When the police searched the mobile phones of the arrested criminals, they found out that all the criminals were working for a gang which used to fraudulently withdraw money from people’s bank accounts. People of this gang used to fool people through social media. Earlier they used to ask for money by luring them with cheap mobile phones. After this, the gang leaders used to transfer the fraudulent money from the bank accounts provided by the people and later withdraw it.

Transactions worth more than Rs 1 crore detected

SP said that the recovered mobile phones revealed that the five miscreants have 31 accounts in different banks, which have been frozen and a letter has been written to the bank officials to stop the withdrawal of funds. In the investigation so far, transactions worth more than Rs 1 crore have been detected in 31 bank accounts.

Evidence of Pakistan connection found

When the seized mobiles were examined, it was found that all the mobile numbers had been used to call Pakistan several times. This makes it clear that this gang also has connections with Pakistan. This is being investigated thoroughly.

These criminals were arrested

SP Kantesh Kumar Mishra said that the arrested criminals have been identified as Bhushan Ram of Chhauradan, Haider Ali of Darpa, Sameer Alam of Banjariya, Wasim Akhtar and Mohammad Asghar. All of them together used to cheat people.

Arrested Bhushan already has a criminal record

The arrested Bhushan Ram already has a criminal record. He was wanted in Bettiah Mofussil police station case number 732-23 (robbery), Chhauradano police station case number 221-23 (robbery). Case number 23-19 (bike theft) is also registered against him in Chhauradano police station and liquor smuggling case in Lakhaura, in which he has already gone to jail. The criminal records of the other four miscreants are being investigated.

Policemen involved in the raid team will be honored

Raxaul DSP Dhirendra Kumar, Chhauradano police station incharge Sarita Kumari, Inspector Chandan Kumar, KV Hanumanth, constable Pintu Kumar, Rajesh Kumar and the team of District Intelligence Unit were involved in the raid conducted to arrest these criminals. All the police officers and soldiers involved in the raid team will be rewarded.
