Bihar News 2 women died after being hit by lightning

Bihar News: A 16-year-old girl and a woman died due to lightning in Sikarwar village of Adhaura police station area of ​​Kaimur district of Bihar on Friday evening. The deceased woman has been identified as Suman Devi, 28, wife of Bhagwan Yadav, resident of Sikarwar village, and Amrita Kumari, daughter of Budhram Yadav. After the accident, both the bodies were brought to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem by Adhaura police late in the evening. Accident happened while working in the field

In connection with the accident, it has been learned that the girl and the woman were working to harvest the wheat crop in the field located near Koyliadih, North of the village, around 6.30 pm on Friday evening. Meanwhile, it started raining and lightning started, so the girl and the woman sat under a mango tree near the field to save themselves from the rain. Then suddenly lightning fell on the same tree and both the women got hit by it. Both of them died on the spot.

At the time of the incident, men and women were harvesting wheat in the nearby fields, who immediately came running but both died on the spot. After this, the family members of the deceased were informed in the village.

Minority Welfare Minister reached the house of the deceased

Here, on receiving information about the accident, Chainpur MLA cum State Minority Welfare Minister Mohd. Jama Khan also reached the deceased’s village Sikarwar late on Friday evening to express his condolences. During this, the minister consoled the family of the deceased and assured to provide government assistance as soon as possible.
