Bihar News: In a tragic accident that took place in Patliputra police station area of Patna, two laborers died after being buried under a stone. This accident happened when both the workers were unloading granite from the truck near Rajiv Nagar flyover on Atal Path. Both of them worked in the construction of a building of the IT department. Many other laborers have also been injured in this accident, who have been sent to the hospital for treatment. After getting information about the incident, police reached the spot. The bodies of the dead laborers have been sent to PMCH for post-mortem. Pataliputra police station in-charge has confirmed the incident and said that the matter is being investigated.
Both laborers were residents of Khagaria.
The deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Gautam Yadav and 20-year-old Dilkhush Kumar. Both were originally residents of Khagaria, but were living in Patna and earning their livelihood. According to the information, Gautam used to work in labor supply. Information about this incident has been given to the families of both.
Granite was ordered for building construction
Actually, granite stone was ordered for the construction of the building. Which Gautam was getting off the truck through his laborers. Meanwhile, a stone started slipping and falling, which Gautam and Dilkhush tried to stop, but they failed and died after getting buried under the stone.
Police is busy investigating
An atmosphere of chaos was created when both of them got buried under the stone. The workers present there and the people nearby tried to take both of them out from under the stone. But when the local people could rescue both of them, Gautam and Dilkhush died. After this the police was informed. The police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
