Bihar: Naxalites were planning to blow up soldiers in Gaya, had buried IED-detonators and weapons underground.

A continuous campaign is being conducted against Naxalites in Bihar and their nefarious designs are being foiled. A search operation was conducted in Gaya and during this the soldiers achieved great success. During the raid in the forest areas, 22 kg of IDs were recovered. More than a dozen detonators and weapons have also been recovered. All this material was kept buried underground. The Naxalites had made complete arrangements to blow up the security forces.

Explosives found buried underground in Gair

While carrying out a major operation against Naxalites in Gaya, the team of SSB 32nd Battalion on Saturday recovered a huge quantity of explosive materials and other weapons. During the operation conducted under the direction of battalion commandant Lalit Kumar and deputy commandant Deepak Kumar, a 22 kg IED was recovered from near Bakarjhuli forest in the hills on the way from Kumbi to Tero. Country made pistol and detonator etc. have also been recovered. All the explosives were buried in the ground.

During the search operation conducted by the security forces, apart from three country-made pistols and firenets, 13 detonators were also recovered from the concerned site. In this regard, officials said that explosives were kept underground with the aim of causing harm to the security forces. A search operation is being conducted by the police in the entire area. Let it be known that the area concerned is a heavily Naxal affected area and its border connects with the state of Jharkhand. Company Commander Ayush Mishra told that Naxalites have come to this area from Jharkhand area and have buried explosives in the ground with the aim of causing harm to the security forces.

Raid in Banka, Naxalite caught..

In this sequence, Manjay Hembram alias Bhola Hembram, resident of Dobatiya village of Barhat police station area under Jamui district, was arrested by the police from his in-laws house in Bagdhaswa village. He was arrested from Raju Tudu’s house. His arrest is being considered a major success for the police.
