The health department is now alert about this and 10 beds each have been reserved for dengue patients in each district hospital of the state. People are being appealed to clean their houses. Do not allow waterlogging. 104 call centers cum control rooms have been created at the state level. These days dengue is spreading rapidly in Bhagalpur.
The process of meeting dengue patients continued in Bhagalpur district on Wednesday as well. After investigation, a total of 16 new patients were found. Three patients were identified after investigation at Mayaganj Hospital. After investigation, 13 dengue patients were found in Sadar Hospital. Manager of Mayaganj Hospital, Sunil Kumar said that all the positive patients are from urban areas. Among them, an 18-year-old youth resident of Police Line, a 14-year-old girl resident of Mayaganj locality and a 60-year-old resident of Mustafapur of Burari police station area. At the same time, seven patients were discharged after recovering. Now the number of patients in dengue ward has increased to 31. Here, the in-charge of Sadar Hospital, Dr. Raju said that on Wednesday, 40 patients were tested for dengue with the kit in the Clinical Pathology of Sadar Hospital. Of these, 13 patients turned out to be dengue positive.
All the dengue patients found in Bhagalpur were residents of the city. Of the new dengue patients, two were admitted to the 15-bed dengue ward in the DCHC building. Now the number of dengue patients in this ward has increased to nine. Apart from government, private hospitals are full of dengue patients. At the same time, people are consuming a lot of coconut water and raw papaya to prevent dengue.
On the other hand, the Assistant Director of District Child Protection Unit Bhagalpur wrote a letter to the Municipal Commissioner demanding fogging in the premises of the large shelter home. It was told in the letter that the drain of the large shelter home should be connected to the drain of the city. Along with this, fogging should be done to prevent the outbreak of dengue. At present, there are 38 boys and girls in the children’s home (boys) and 92 boys and girls in the children’s home (girls) operated in the newly constructed large shelter home. Drainage has not yet been made for water evacuation in the newly constructed building. Due to this, there has been a problem of water logging in the building premises.
According to media reports, the havoc of dengue in the police department is not showing any sign of abating. More than a dozen policemen and police officers had already fallen victim to the infection. Now on Wednesday half a dozen more policemen got infected. These include personnel posted in the office of DSP and Kotwali Inspector. At the same time, patients suffering from dengue and typhoid are also coming to the district.

Two dengue infected patients treated in the dengue ward of Sadar Hospital were discharged on Wednesday and sent home after recovering. While two dengue affected patients were found admitted. Hospital Deputy Superintendent Dr. Raman Kumar told that Gudiya Devi and Pooja Kumari, residents of Puraniganj suffering from dengue, have been discharged after recovery. Whereas an 18-year-old female patient, resident of Suryagarha Garib Nagar and resident of Karbala Herudiyara, is undergoing treatment in the dengue ward. Apart from this, a patient resident of Shadipur is also undergoing treatment in the dengue ward. Which has currently been confirmed as typhoid. But considering the possibility of dengue, his sample has been sent for ELISA test. The Deputy Superintendent said that there are proper arrangements for the treatment of dengue patients in Sadar Hospital. Patients who have low platelets are also being provided platelets from the blood bank. Meanwhile, due to the increasing cases of dengue, the Municipal Corporation sprayed insecticides called Tokiphos and Larvasite on Wednesday in dengue affected Puriganj and Karbala localities. Along with this, fogging was done in both the affected localities.
