Bihar: Looting in jewelery showroom of Muzaffarpur, staff shot, half a dozen miscreants carried out the incident.

Bihar Crime News: On Saturday night, criminals opened fire indiscriminately at Hiralal Saraf and Jewellers, located at the mouth of Bhagwanpur overbridge in Sadar police station area in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. The criminals who entered with the intention of looting made all the employees stand in a corner at gunpoint. Then, the jewelery show case was broken. The artificial jewelery kept in it and the mobile phone of a staff member were looted. On protesting, the miscreants shot showroom staff Ritesh Kumar, resident of Balughat, in the leg. However, the bullet missed his leg.

Six criminals arrived on two bikes and committed robbery

Six criminals who arrived on two bikes have committed this crime. All the criminals involved in the robbery ran away towards Rewa Road while firing. On receiving information about the incident, City SP Arvind Pratap Singh, ASP Town Awadhesh Saroj Dixit and DIU in-charge Lal Kishore Gupta arrived. The picture of the four criminals committing robbery has been captured in CCTV. Injured staff Ritesh is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Brahmapura. Shopkeeper Mukesh Kumar Saraf, resident of Fatehpur in Kanti police station area, told that he had come out of the shop at 8.30 pm on Saturday night for some work. The staff inside the shop were Dinanath, Mohan, Rakesh, Kanhai, Radheshyam, Vikas, Raja, Ritesh. Meanwhile, six criminals arrived on two bikes. The miscreants were demanding cash from his staff.

When the guard posted in the show room, Deepu Kumar, resident of Ramdayalu, tried to stop the criminals, he was pushed aside. When another staff member Ritesh tried to catch a criminal, he was shot in the leg. After this, all the staff were urging the criminals with folded hands not to open fire. But, the scoundrel was not ready to listen to even a single thing.

The miscreants ran away while firing to spread terror.

When the criminals felt that they had looted all the jewelery then all four came out of the showroom. Both the miscreants already sitting on the bike had kept the bike in start mode, all four sat on it and ran away while firing to spread terror. Shop guard Deepu Kumar says that the age of the criminals would have been between 20 to 27 years. The face of a criminal was completely exposed. The remaining three were covering their faces with mufflers and masks. The miscreants were talking among themselves in common conversational language.

If the incident had happened at 8 o’clock, jewelery worth lakhs would have been looted.

Local shopkeepers said that criminals looted the shop at the time of expansion. If this incident had happened half an hour earlier, jewelery worth lakhs of rupees would have been looted. Because when the criminal arrived, all the jewelery had been removed from the shop. There is a lot of anger among local shopkeepers after this incident which happened before 9 pm. He says that the morale of the criminals has increased so much that they reached such a crowded area to commit robbery.

Ongoing raid based on the tower location of the staff’s looted mobile phone

DIU and surveillance team is conducting raids on the basis of the tower location of the looted mobile phone of staff Anoop Kumar. Police suspect that criminals released from jail may also be involved in this incident. Police is also investigating the horoscopes of criminals who were recently released from jail in Sadar area. At the same time, the police have also seized the mobile phones of all the staff of the shop and taken them for investigation. Separate statements of the staff have been recorded.

The police patrol car had passed through Yadav Nagar gate 15 minutes ago.

Police of Sadar police station said that 15 minutes before the incident, the patrol vehicle had left Yadav Nagar Gate via Bhagwanpur Chowk and reached near Ramdayalu Chowk via Gobarsahi, Khabra. Meanwhile, when information about the robbery was received, he came running.
