The exercise of seat sharing is going on within the Grand Alliance in Bihar regarding the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Leaders of all the parties are brainstorming among themselves. A marathon meeting was held on Thursday regarding seat sharing between RJD and ML in view of the Lok Sabha elections. A meeting is possible on Saturday regarding seat distribution in the Grand Alliance. The State Congress Election Campaign Committee is also to hold a meeting on that day. After the meeting of the State Election Committee, there is a possibility that the final decision on the seats of the constituent parties will be taken.
Congress is churning on 10 seats.
Multiplication is being done within the Congress regarding ten Lok Sabha seats. However, Congress has adopted a flexible approach from the beginning. Last time, Congress stood second on eight seats. Out of them, it was defeated by JDU in Valmikinagar, Munger, Supaul, Katihar and Purnia. In Patna Sahib and Sasaram, it had to be defeated by BJP, while in Samastipur it had to be defeated by LJP.
How many seats is Congress likely to get?
According to experts, Congress may get six to eight seats. In the Lok Sabha elections 2019, she contested on nine seats and was victorious only in Kishanganj.
