Bihar: Patna. After changing the names of many road and railway stations across the country, now the names of schools in Bihar are going to be changed. The Education Department has started preparations to change the names of 70 thousand government schools of Bihar. If everything goes well, the name of these schools will be changed in this session itself. Its process will be started after the Lok Sabha elections.
Name will change after Lok Sabha elections
According to the information received from the Education Department, the name of the newly created primary school and upgraded middle school of Bihar is going to be changed. The names of schools will be changed in this session after the Lok Sabha elections. In this regard, the Education Department is busy collecting information from newly created and upgraded schools in all 38 districts of the state. The names of these schools will be named after the state or great men of the country and the state. The Education Department has asked all the districts to prepare a list of names of great men of the country and the state for newly created and upgraded schools.
Names of 90 schools of Munger will be changed
District Education Officer of Bhagalpur, Rajkumar Sharma has told the local media that the names of 430 newly created and 116 upgraded schools of Bhagalpur will be changed, while 75 newly created schools of Banka, 308 newly created and 194 upgraded schools of Lakhisarai, 542 newly created and 407 upgraded schools of Supaul will be changed. The names of the schools will be changed. Names of 21 newly created and 69 upgraded schools of Munger, 160 newly created and 100 upgraded schools of Araria and 219 schools of Madhepura will be changed.

There was a problem with the long names of the schools.
According to officials of the Education Department, one of the reasons behind changing the names of these schools is that due to the big names of these schools, there is a lot of trouble while making entry in the e-Shiksha Kosh and U-DISE portal. In view of the problem, the education department has decided to change the names of the schools. The new names of such schools will be entered on e-Shiksha Kosh and U-DISE portal. After this these schools will be known by the same name.
