Bihar: Inspectors reached the recruitment exam on 3 stolen bikes, police arrested the candidates.

Bihar Inspector Exam: The decision regarding appointment to 1275 posts of Inspector in Bihar Police was taken by Bihar Police Under Service Commission on Sunday. The preliminary examination was peaceful. About 85 percent i.e. 5.61 lakh candidates had participated in this examination. The discussion of paper leak in Madhubani remained in the headlines. OSD of Bihar Police Lower Service Commission said that some nine candidates were expelled on charges of misconduct in the preliminary examination. Of these, three candidates had left only after taking OMR seats. Candidates from two centers of Muzaffarpur also left the center with carbon copies of OMR sheets. Three candidates were arrested in Gaya. These candidates had come to appear for the examination on a stolen bike.

Three candidates arrested with stolen bikes

On Sunday, the special team of Gaya Police arrested three youths who had come to appear for the sub-inspector recruitment exam along with three stolen bikes and put them in lockup. The police have interrogated the three youths who were caught by the special team formed by SSP Ashish Bharti. The SSP has instructed the technical cell to extract the CDR-call details of the phones of the arrested youth. The police action created panic at the examination centres. At the same time, when the family members of the three arrested youth came to know about this incident, the ground slipped under their feet. Late in the evening the family members of the three youths reached Gaya and started circling the police station. However, a senior police officer has said about this action that it will be disclosed on Monday.

Candidate arrested with stolen bikes

According to the information, three youths who had come to take the examination at the examination center set up in Gaya College, have been arrested with three stolen bikes. The arrested youth have been identified as Sonu Kumar, resident of Kendua village of Magadh Medical police station area, Rajesh Kumar, resident of Sukhabigha village of Wazirganj police station area and Santosh Kumar, resident of Manpur Sudhi Tola locality of Mufassil police station area. However, the police team has started identifying the real owners on the basis of the engine and chassis numbers of the three bikes, so that by establishing contact with their owners, they can find out when and from where their bikes were stolen. Also, in which police stations FIR was registered regarding theft.

Candidates left with OMR seats

In the sub-inspector recruitment examination conducted by Bihar Police Service Commission on Sunday, candidates from two centers left the center with carbon copies of OMR sheets. The uneasiness of the invigilators engaged in examination duty increased when they came to know about this during the examination before sealing the OMR. The Static Magistrate, district level officers as well as the Commission were also informed about this. The Central Superintendents have filed an application for FIR in the city police station. The sub-inspector recruitment examination was conducted under strict surveillance in two shifts at 33 centers in the district. The city and surrounding educational institutions were also made centres.

The candidate left with a carbon copy

During the first shift examination from DN High School, a candidate went away with a carbon copy of the OMR sheet. Center Superintendent cum Principal Mohd. Kamruzzaman said that after the end of the first shift examination, the invigilator had collected the OMR sheets from all the candidates. Along with the OMR sheet, its carbon copy was also attached. All the candidates submitted both the copies, but one student did not have a carbon copy in his OMR sheet. This information came to light during testing before making the packet. This was immediately informed to the Static Magistrate and other officials. Besides, an application has also been given in the city police station.

When the candidate left with the carbon copy, the matter reached the police station.

The Center Superintendent said that the candidate has also submitted a copy of the Admit Card along with a copy of the Aadhaar Card, due to which information about the same has been given to the Commission. On the other hand, in Ram Manohar Lohia College, a candidate in the second shift went away with the carbon copy. This information has also been given to the city police station along with the officials. It was told that after the examination was over, there was a rush to submit OMR. Meanwhile, a candidate left with a carbon copy, whereas the carbon copy was also to be submitted along with the original OMR.
