Bihar: Darbhanga. After about a month, the number of flights from Darbhanga Airport has been increased. For the last two days, there have been 10 flights instead of six. This has affected the number of passengers. The number of passengers has increased by one and a half times as compared to before. The number has increased from 1000 to 1500. On April 1, 1526 passengers traveled in 10 planes. Earlier on February 25, 1502 people had flown on the same number of ships. In the meantime, the number of passengers continued to decline with the reduction in the number of flights. Even the number of passengers dropped below 1000.
More than 85 percent seats are booked
The number of people traveling from Darbhanga Airport has been good since the beginning. According to the information, on an average every plane has more than 85 percent booking. Whereas the number increases during festival days. There is a continuous increase in the number of passengers since March 19. Passengers are getting convenience due to increase in the number of flights from Darbhanga Airport. Especially the passengers traveling to Delhi are getting better options.
Service on Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad routes
Currently, service is being provided from Darbhanga Airport on Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad routes. Apart from two pairs on the Delhi route, there is one pair of flights on other routes. Air services are at a standstill on the Bengaluru and Ayodhya routes.
