Bihar: In Jamui, the girl died by consuming poison, husband was accused of illegal relationship and harassment

Angered by the love affair of a young man resident of Tolatand Amari village of Khaira police station area of ​​Jamui district, his wife committed suicide by consuming poison. However, people from the maternal side of the deceased have alleged murder and harassment. The deceased has been identified as Reena Devi, 32-year-old wife of Tolatand resident Vikas Sah.

According to the information, Vikas was married to Reena Devi 14 years ago. He works as a laborer living in Bangalore. He had an illicit relationship with a woman in Bangalore itself. Reena came to know about this and she was very unhappy about this. On last Friday, he consumed poison to end his life and in critical condition, he was admitted to a private clinic in Patna for treatment. Where he died late at night.

Sudhir Kumar Sah, brother of deceased Reena Devi, has also given a written application in Khaira police station regarding the incident. The brother of the deceased has told that since marriage, her husband Vikas Kumar Sah, father-in-law Masoodan Sah, mother-in-law Sona Devi, Vikas’s brother Chandan Sah and others used to torture her. Vikas Kumar lived in Bangalore where he had established an illicit relationship with a woman. When my sister asked him about this, he took her with him to Bangalore and started beating her there too. Fed up with his harassment, my sister had gone back to her in-laws house. Where all the people have forcibly killed him by giving poison.

After the incident, the police has been informed and taking prompt action in the matter, the accused mother-in-law Sona Devi has been taken into custody and she is being interrogated. Khaira Police Station President Siddheshwar Paswan told that the body of the deceased has been sent to Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Police is investigating the matter by registering an FIR.
