Bihar: Former driver of Union Minister Nityanand Rai assaulted in Hajipur over a passing dispute.

Bihar News: A driver was assaulted over a passing dispute during a road jam near Karnapura Chowk of Gangabridge police station area in Hajipur, Bihar. It is alleged that the SI posted at Mahnar police station beat up the driver of Hajipur MLA severely. The driver injured by the beating has been admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Treatment of the injured is going on in Sadar Hospital. It is said about the driver that he used to be the driver of Union Minister Nityanand Rai. Nityanand Rai’s former driver was assaulted.

Treatment of the injured continues in the hospital.

During treatment, the driver, Chandan Kumar, resident of Sahadullahpur village of Gangabridge police station area, told that he was going to Jadua on his bike. Meanwhile, he got stuck in the traffic jam at Karnapura Chowk. During the jam, Inspector Arvind Kumar, posted at Mahnar police station on behalf of Jadua, was returning by car. The inspector became very angry when he was asked to pass the vehicle. On receiving the information, Hajipur BJP MLA Awadhesh Singh reached the hospital to know the condition of his injured driver. Seeing the injured Chandan, the local people informed him about the incident. The family members reached the spot and admitted the injured to Sadar Hospital. As soon as information about the incident was received, many BJP leaders reached Sadar Hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured and snatched the keys of the bike and pushed the vehicle aside.

FIR lodged against five including SI

It is alleged that after sidelining the car, the Inspector called some people, took them near Karnapura underpass and beat them mercilessly. The driver’s head was also injured due to the beating. Injured Chandan has been admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment. On receiving information about this, many BJP leaders reached the hospital to know the condition of the injured. The family reached the spot and admitted the injured to Sadar Hospital. As soon as information about the incident was received, many BJP leaders reached Sadar Hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured. Awadhesh Singh told the media that this is a very serious matter and the injured driver has been threatened by coming to the Sadar Hospital not to file a case. On this the MLA said that we will talk to SP Saheb and action will be taken. An FIR has been registered against five people including SI Arvind Kumar in the case of brutal beating of Hajipur MLA’s driver by SI of Mahnar police station. Also, the police is taking further action.
