Bihar News: A fire incident occurred in Motihari due to leakage in LPG cylinder in which more than 15 people got burnt. This incident happened late on Thursday evening. Where the fire broke out due to gas leakage while cooking on gas. The incident took place in Paknahiya village under Palanwa police station of Ramgarhwa block area. All the injured people have been taken to Bettiah and Raxaul for treatment. On receiving information about the incident, the police of Palanwa police station reached the spot along with the fire brigade and got involved in rescue operations.
This incident is said to have happened late Thursday evening. According to the information received regarding the incident, the wife of Achhealal Sah, resident of Pakhanhiya, was cooking food on the gas stove when this accident occurred due to gas leakage. Including Ranjan Gupta, Mithlesh Gupta, Sonu Gupta, Jodha Sah, Vinod Sah, Kanhaiya Sah, Mukesh Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Kajal Kumari, Sakshi Kumari, Jagmati Devi, Rahul Kumar, Lalu, Sanju, Manju, Pintu Kumar, Deepak Kumar. More than 15 men and women were burnt to death. The local people hurriedly took them to Bettiah and Raxaul for treatment. In which the condition of some people is worrying.
On hearing the news of the incident, a stampede occurred in the village. An atmosphere of chaos was created due to screaming all around. Later, a crowd of people gathered at the incident site and started relief and rescue work. Hearing the news of the incident, Circle Officer Mani Bhushan Kumar and others reached the spot and inquired about the situation.
