Both the groups lodged an FIR regarding the incident

FIRs have been lodged by both the parties in the Sikarhana-Kushvanshi Nagar fight. Rekha Devi of one side has told that she had taken a group loan from L&T Finance Company, of which Rs 35,000 came into my account. On January 9, she went to Dhaka SBI mini branch to withdraw money with Awadh Das. There Avadh Das was asked to withdraw the money. In the meantime, Avadh Das got Rs 18,800 out of the withdrawn amount in his account’s phone pay. Many times when he demanded the said money, he used to always hesitate. When he went to his house at seven o’clock on Sunday evening to ask for the money, he started abusing and misbehaving.

When I protested, they started fighting. When I ran away from there and was going towards my house, Vakil Das, Krishna Das, Jayprakash Das, Vakil Das, Bharos Das, Pramod Das, Rani Devi etc. were attacked with bricks, stones and sticks. . When she ran away from there and reached her home, the accused barged into my house and looted it. Jewelery and Rs 46,600 were taken out of the box. On the other hand, Awadh Das, villagers Dharmendra Prasad, Ramchandra Prasad, Lakhindra Prasad, Mukhlal Prasad, Rajesh Prasad etc. have been accused of taking away his wife and himself from the house, tying them to a pole at the door and assaulting them, snatching the car key, mobile and Rs 30,000, using casteist words.

Station President Mukesh Chandra Kumar said that FIRs have been lodged from both the sides. Nine accused in the case have been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
