Bihar: Female passenger dies in plane going from Darbhanga to Mumbai, emergency landing at airport

Bihar News: A female passenger has died in SG116 flight from Darbhanga airport in Bihar to Mumbai. This woman was a resident of Darbhanga. Shortly after the plane took off from Darbhanga, the health of the woman Kalavati Devi started deteriorating. After this, the crew contacted ATC and asked for permission to make an emergency landing of the aircraft. As soon as permission was granted, the woman was dropped at Varanasi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport and taken to a nearby nursing home. Here the doctors declared him dead. SpiceJet flight (SG 116) was going to Mumbai from Darbhanga Airport.

The plane diverted and landed at the airport
