Bihar: Employed Teachers Union will agitate against the competency test, Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary’s statement also came..

Teachers employed in Bihar will have to appear for a competency test to get the status of a state employee. For this they will have to compulsorily pass this examination. Employed teachers will get three attempts for this. If they do not pass the exam in three attempts, they will have to lose their job. The government will dismiss such teachers. On Saturday, under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary KK Pathak, the departmental committee constituted regarding the competency test held a meeting in which this decision was taken. Now the committee is sending its recommendation to the state government where it will be approved. On the other hand, teachers unions have opposed this decision. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has also given his reaction on this issue.

Teachers union expressed protest

The teachers union is opposing the decision related to the mandatory competency test for teachers employed in Bihar. An all-union emergency meeting of teachers unions is being held at Kedar Bhawan in Patna on Sunday. Anand Kaushal, President of Bihar Panchayat Nagar Primary Teachers Association, said that the government is giving step-motherly treatment to the appointed teachers of Bihar, which will not be tolerated. He said that all the organizations of employed teachers in Bihar are uniting in Patna. We will form a platform and fight a tough battle with the government. The government will have to face tremendous opposition from the streets to the House.

Objections expressed regarding the examination

The teacher union leader said that they are talking about exams three times. The status of state employee will have to be given unconditionally. Now new rules have been brought that you have to pass the exam three times otherwise you will be thrown out of the job. This is arbitrary. We are making a three-tier strategy. We will also challenge the government in the court and will organize a massive movement in the budget session. Anand Kaushal said that rules for employment for 60 years were made. You cannot remove it arbitrarily.

Samrat Choudhary said..

On a question related to the displeasure of teachers’ unions on a news channel, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that talks will be held with the people of teachers’ union. But quality and quantity will also be kept in mind. One should definitely worry about this. This is a matter of the future of the children of Bihar. We will have to worry about this. But teachers unions will be discussed as to what could be the solution.
