Bihar: ED and Income Tax Department raid industrialist’s house in Begusarai, team reached at 6 am

There was a stir in Begusarai, Bihar on Thursday morning. It is being told that at the residence of industrialist Ajay Kumar Singh alias Karu Singh, ED (Enforcement Directorate) and Income Tax Department (income tax) is being raided by. This raid is taking place in the Krishna Nagar locality of the city police station area. Builder and industrialist Ajay Kumar Singh is considered very close to JDU President Lalan Singh. However, no information has been received from the authorities about the raid yet. The policemen and officers present in the house are refraining from saying anything.

Local people said that early in the morning the raiding party had reached near the house of Ajay Kumar Singh. After this, as soon as his gate opened, the team reached inside. At present, a large number of police force and a team of more than a dozen officers have reached Karu Singh’s house for raids. According to sources, ED and Income Tax teams are conducting raids simultaneously. The whole matter will be revealed only after the raid. It is being told that Ajay Kumar Singh is at his home now. However, he had to leave for Patna at eight o’clock in the morning.

Ajay Kumar Singh has been working as a builder for a long time. It is discussed that he is a relative of Finance Minister Vijay Chowdhary. In such a situation, he is also considered very close to JDU. Significantly, this raid has taken place when the meeting of opposition unity is to be held on Friday. West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee is reaching Patna today regarding this. At the same time, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is arriving with AAP MP Sanjay Singh and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann at seven in the evening. Whereas, National Conference’s Omar Abdullah and PDP’s Mehbooba Mufti along with CPI-ML general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, CPI(M)’s Sitaram Yechury and CPI’s D Raja are also going to reach Patna by Thursday evening.
