Bihar: During the journey of Patna Metro, passengers will not get shocks, energy will also be saved, know the reason

Bihar News: The best Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) system will be adopted for better coordination and communication in all the stations and depots of the Patna Metro Rail Project. This will make it easier for the passengers to travel. Due to the automatic speed regulation of this system, there will be no need to accelerate and brake unnecessarily. This will also save energy and there will be no unnecessary jerks in the journey. The operation of trains under this system and the inclusion of real time monitoring also helps in preventing accidents and collisions in metro trains.

wireless communication system

Explain that according to the officials of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation ie DMRC, CBTC is a state-of-the-art signaling system, which is helpful in managing train operations in the Metro Rapid Transit System. In this communication system, information is exchanged between the control center and the train through a wireless system. In this, information about any kind of fault in the system of trains is automatically received. The number and speed of movement of trains can be increased through CBTC. With this it will be possible to carry more passengers in less time. At present, the passengers are eagerly waiting for the metro in Patna.

People will get better facilities

Let us inform that the work of construction of underground metro station and tunnel is going on at a fast pace in Corridor-2 of Patna Metro Rail Project. Under this, the first TBM-1 located at Moinul Haq underground metro station has successfully completed its 85 meter journey. After this, the initial drive for the construction work of underground metro station is going on here. After completing 85 meters of travel, the main drive was started by the first TBM. To start main drive it takes about 20 days to add backup, gantry to TBM. The construction of the underground metro line is mainly divided into three phases. In this, the construction work of underground metro line by tunnel boring machine is divided into three phases. The first stage in this process is the initial (primary) drive, in which the TBM starts digging the tunnel from the launching shaft. In this step, the temporary ring segments are fixed manually, due to which the thrust jack fitted in the machine, with the help of these temporary ring segments, the TBM is moved forward. After this the TBM reaches the main drive, in which the TBM constructs the tunnel by installing permanent ring segments along with the excavation.

Metro’s working director has given the information. He has informed that 41 percent work has been completed in the Priority Corridor (Malahi Pakdi to ISBT). The work of erection of cross arm has started for three stations of this corridor ISBT, Khemnichak and Bhootnath Road while preparations are underway for erection of cross arm at another station Malahi Pakdi. Cross arms are used to prepare metro stations. At the same time, it has now come to the fore that the best Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) system is being adopted for better coordination and communication at stations and depots. This will provide better facilities to the people.

This system will have automatic speed regulation. In this, there will be no need to increase the speed and apply brakes unnecessarily in the metro. Along with this, energy can also be saved due to this. It will also help in preventing accidents and collisions. Because, through this system, operation of trains and real time monitoring will also be possible. In this way passengers will be able to experience a safe journey. CBTC is a state-of-the-art signaling system and is helpful in train operation. Sending information between the control center and the train will also be very easy. Also it will be a wireless system. Meaning no wire will be used in it. With this, the number and speed of movement of trains will be increased.
