Bihar: Motihari: A major accident has taken place in Kalyanpur police station area of East Champaran district of Bihar. A girl died after falling from the dragon swing in Motihari, three others are injured. A girl is seriously injured. The accident took place in Khatolwa village of Kalyanpur police station area. Where a fair is organized in Mahayagya. In this fair both the girls were sitting in the dragon swing. The swing was in speed when one of its bogies broke, leading to this accident. The deceased has been identified as Priya, daughter of Ajay Singh of Ganavandri village. On receiving information about the incident, police from the local police station including Chakia DSP reached the spot and sent the body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An injured girl is undergoing treatment, while the police is busy locating two other injured people.
Girl dies in accident
According to the information received, Mahayagya is being organized in Khatolwa village of Kalyanpur. A fair is organized in this Mahayagya. Apart from the local villagers, people from nearby villages had reached the Mahayagya fair last night with their families. There was a huge crowd of people. Various types of shops and many swings are installed in the fair. Everyone was enjoying the swing, when the bogie of a toy train running at high speed slipped from the running track and fell down. A girl riding in it died. The deceased has been identified as Priya Kumari, 19-year-old daughter of Ajay Singh, resident of Gavandri village. Three girls were injured and the injured Ruby Kumari is undergoing treatment. The police is busy verifying the two other injured.

Police engaged in investigation
After receiving information about the incident, police from the local police station including Chakia DSP arrived and started investigating the incident. Chakia DSP Satyendra Kumar Singh, who reached the spot, said that the toy train overturned in Mahayagya in Khatolwa Tola of Kalyanpur. In which one girl died, while three girls were injured. Chakia DSP Satyendra Kumar Singh said that a fair was also organized during the Mahayagya. Where people were enjoying the swing in the fair. At the same time, suddenly the bogie of the toy train slipped from the running track and fell down. A girl died in the accident. The deceased has been identified, while the details of the injured are being ascertained.
