Bihar News: In Bhagalpur, potters are making lamps before Diwali. Chinese lights are being used more in the markets. Due to this the potters are facing a lot of problems. In Navgachia of the district, a dozen potters are manufacturing many items including earthen lamps, Kalash, Chaumunhi etc. As Diwali approaches, the potters have increased the speed of the wheel. But, it has reduced considerably compared to earlier. Potter says that earlier people used to buy 100 lamps, now they are buying 25 lamps. Due to this the income is decreasing. Most of the people are now lighting their houses using Chinese lights. Potters work from four in the morning till night.
