Bihar Crime News: Kotwali police has arrested a youth under POCSO Act. The young man is accused of luring a minor into his love trap and sexually exploiting her. The name of the young man is Harsh Raj, who was keeping a minor with him for the last 15 days by luring her and luring her into his love trap.

Kotwali police raided the hideout of Harsh Raj from Chitkohra on Saturday night and arrested him and also recovered a minor girl from him. On Sunday, after recording the statement of the girl under section 164, the arrested youth was sent to jail under sections 361A, 326 and 4 of the Indian Penal Code.

According to the information received, the family of the victim girl lives in the area of ​​Kotwali police station. The girl is said to be a class 8 student, who came in contact with the accused youth through social media and eventually it turned into love. When the girl had gone to her maternal uncle’s house in Goraiya Toli, she went to meet her alleged boyfriend on the pretext of going to Hanuman temple and did not return. The family members searched extensively but could not find any trace of the girl. Finally, on March 20, 2024, the family lodged a complaint at the Kotwali police station. The police got busy with their work. Meanwhile, the girl’s brother created a fake ID on Instagram and befriended the girl and while talking asked her about her whereabouts. When the police also traced this address, they found out the house of the accused boy in Chitkohra. The Kotwali police then raided the place and caught the accused youth, recovered the girl and handed her over to her family. Police said that during the raid, hearing the threat of their arrival, 2-3 more boys had run away by jumping from the back wall of the terrace.
