Bihar News: Elevated road will be constructed from Beur and Chitkohra Golambar of Patna to AIIMS. The alignment for this has been approved. This approval has been given by the Union Ministry of Roads and Highways. The new alignment of the seven km long elevated corridor from Anisabad to AIIMS located in Patna has been approved. Anisabad-AIIMS elevated corridor will be part of NH-139. Traffic passing through this road will be diverted through the elevated corridor. Along with this, direct uninterrupted connectivity from Beur Mod to AIIMS will also be provided. After this, it will be much easier for people to travel here. People are going to get relief from the major problem of traffic jam.

Bakhtiyarpur to Pali- Koilwar journey will be easy

It is noteworthy that earlier there was an action plan to build a 7.85 km elevated road from Anisabad to Patna via Golambar. But, now on the request of Bihar government, the ministry has decided to expand it. It will now become easier to travel from Bakhtiyarpur to Pali-Koilwar. People of 20 localities will benefit from this construction and will get relief from the problem of traffic jam. A model has been prepared for the alignment of the elevated corridor. According to this, to improve the connectivity of Patna Airport and Patna Junction, a ramp will also be built in Chitkohra. The elevated corridor will be of four lanes. This will make it easier for people to travel.

People will get relief from traffic jam

Anisabad-AIIMS elevated corridor will become part of NH-139. Traffic passing through this road will be diverted through the elevated corridor. Apart from this, direct uninterrupted connectivity from Beur Mod to AIIMS will also be provided. This will provide relief to people from the problem of traffic jam. There will be many benefits as well. Everyone will find it much easier to travel. With its expansion, it will become much easier for people to go to the airport. For its construction, the Center has recently included it in the annual action plan for 2023- 2024. Also Rs 915 crore has been sanctioned. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the convenience of the people. Now a new element has been decided by the Central Road and Transport Highway Ministry.

The road will go till zero mile

Anisabad- Discussion is going on regarding approval of AIIMS fourlane and sixlane elevated corridor. At present, it has been decided to prepare a DPR after discussing with the NHAI consultant to extend it from Beur turn to Patna Geromile NH-30. It is proposed that a part will fall in AIIMS for direct traffic from Anisabad-AIIMS corridor. At the same time, to provide connectivity to the airport, a part can be taken out from Chitkohra Golambar. This will benefit those going to the airport and junction. Currently, Rodic Consultant has proposed two alignments for the Anisabad-AIIMS elevated road. In the first alignment, it is proposed to develop Anisabad-Phulwari-AIIMS elevated corridor along with service road. In the second, a road will be built from New Bypass Road to New NH-139 and Anisabad Golambar and AIIMS Golambar will be connected.

It will be easier for patients to reach the hospital

Six lane elevated road from Anisabad to Patna AIIMS has been approved. This will give relief to the people of Patna from the jam. Patients will also find it much easier to reach the hospital.
