In a case of abusing and demanding money for drinking alcohol, the plaintiff and the defendant reached the court to reach a settlement after drinking alcohol. What happened next, both of them were taken to jail from the court premises itself. Actually this matter came up in Jamui Civil Court on Wednesday. When two people who had come to compromise in a case were being presented before a judicial officer. But both of them were arrested from there and sent to jail.

According to the information, the plaintiff and the defendant had reached the civil court on Wednesday to reach a settlement in a case registered at Khaira police station. On October 21, 2023, Chowkidar Chandradev Paswan, posted at Khaira police station, had lodged an FIR against Shambhu Yadav, resident of Ballopur village, accusing him of assault under the influence of alcohol and demanding money for drinking alcohol. In this case, both the parties reached a mutual settlement outside the court and people from both the parties reached the civil court on Wednesday to reach a settlement.

The magistrate realized this and got both of them arrested.

As soon as both of them reached the court of the first class judicial magistrate, the magistrate hearing the case realized that people from both the parties were drunk. After this, a breath analyzer was called for in the court premises itself and both were examined. After it was confirmed that both of them had consumed alcohol, both of them were sent to the lockup directly from the court. This case of arrest of a watchman and another person along with him from the court premises under the influence of alcohol, who reached the court to reach a settlement after drinking alcohol, has become the center of discussion. At present, an order has been given to register a FIR against both of them under relevant sections of the Excise Act.
