Crime News: Cyber criminals are adopting new methods of fraud in Bihar. Meanwhile, in the name of booking, thugs have made people their victims in Patna’s Gyan Bhawan and Bapu Auditorium. Cyber criminals have created a fake site on Google for booking Bapu Auditorium and Gyan Bhawan. Besides, they are also operating fake accounts on Instagram, Facebook and Just Dial. While booking Bapu Auditorium and Gyan Bhawan, people are becoming victims of fraud due to the fake sites of these cyber criminals. After many such cases came to light, Harshita Singh, Assistant Engineer, Building Construction Department, Under Division, Samrat Ashok Convention Center, has registered a case against unknown miscreants in the cyber police station. In the information given to the police, he said that since few months, two cases of fake booking of Gyan Bhawan and Bapu Auditorium have come to light. The site that people used for booking was not the official site of the Building Construction Department. Fake business is being run on Google in the name of Gyan Bhawan and Bapu Auditorium. Also, fake accounts have been created on Instagram, Facebook and Just Dial. The assistant engineer has urged the police to take action.
