Extortion demanded from cruise ship taking foreign tourists in Bhagalpur
The Indian Inland Waterways Authority had lodged a written complaint at the Industrial Area police station Sabour against unknown miscreants in the matter of demanding extortion at the Engineering College Ghat in Bhagalpur, for which an FIR has been registered. Sections of extortion, assault on a government servant while on duty and sections of the Arms Act have been imposed on the miscreants. On the instructions of the authority, a case was registered through the Birsa Munda ship standing at the Engineering College Ghat. According to the information received by BollywoodWallah, miscreants are active here day and night to extort money from the operators of ships coming and going to the ghat.
