The result was announced by Bihar Board Chairman Anand Kishore through a press conference from the auditorium of Bihar School Examination Committee. Bihar Board released the 12th result (Intermediate) on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm. Along with the results, other details including the list of toppers, district wise list of better performing students have also been released. According to Bihar School Examination Committee, 87.21 percent of the total candidates have passed. A total of 86 percent students in Arts Faculty, 87 percent students in Science Faculty, while 94 percent students in Commerce Faculty have passed the examination. Mrityunjay Kumar of Siwan has become the topper of science faculty. Mrityunjay Kumar is the topper with 96.2 percent marks. Tushar Kumar of Patna Commerce College has been the topper in the Faculty of Arts, he has got 96.4 percent marks. Whereas Priya Kumar of Shekhpura has been the topper of commerce faculty. He has got 488 i.e. 96.6 percent marks. Priya has also become the state topper with the highest marks.
Better results than before, girls ahead again
Anand Kishore said that this year the result has been better than last year. Girl students have won in all three faculties. This time 88.84 percent girl students have passed the examination. Anand Kishore once again congratulated the board and all the employees and teachers of the school for releasing the results first in the country. He congratulated the passing students and asked the unsuccessful candidates to be patient. He said that soon the board will conduct examinations for them.
