Why is the air of Bihar deteriorating?

Why is the environment of Bihar changing and why is the air getting polluted? One of the many reasons for this is change in weather. Weather experts say that with the departure of monsoon, the night temperature has started falling. It was raining at that time due to which the amount of dust particles was less. Now as the amount of dust particles in the air has started increasing, the level of pollution in the air is also increasing along with the smog.

Sensors prepared in blocks will alert

Bihar Pollution Control Board is now going to start a system to forecast the air quality in the blocks 48 hours in advance. Bihar State Pollution Control Board Chairman Devendra Kumar Shukla said that the aim of this initiative is to deal with air pollution during the winter season. He said that low-cost sensors have been installed in all 534 block offices of the state. It has been prepared in collaboration with IIT Kanpur. The air quality forecasting system will issue alerts so that appropriate action can be taken accordingly.
