If the students remain absent from the school, then they will not be allowed to appear in the examination. 75% attendance is necessary in schools. At the same time, action will also be taken against the students who are missing from the colleges.

Admission will be canceled if absent from college class

The admission of students who remain absent from the college classes will be cancelled. 75% attendance is compulsory in school as well as in college. Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department KK Pathak has issued an order to make 75 percent attendance of students compulsory in all the schools, colleges and universities of Bihar.

75 percent attendance is mandatory in schools

Let us tell you that a few days ago the Bihar School Examination Board ie BSEB had issued the order. According to this order, 75 percent attendance of boys and girls in government schools is mandatory. Along with this, the parents will have to give an affidavit. The format of the affidavit was sent by BSEB to all secondary and higher secondary schools and inter colleges. Parents will have to fill this affidavit. The parents will be responsible for the absenteeism of the children from the school. Students will be able to appear in the examination only after 75 percent attendance.

On the other hand, if the attendance of the students is not 75 percent then they will not get the benefit of any government scheme. The incentive amount will be withheld. The benefit of other scholarship will also not be available. Parents have to be told that their children are going to school every day. Parents will be responsible for the absence of children in school. By January 2024, children whose attendance will be 75 percent will be able to appear in the matriculation and inter exams. It is known that earlier there was no such rule.

Order to prepare report to DEO of each district

Additional Chief Secretary Pathak also held a review meeting in virtual mode. In this he saw the presentation of five districts especially Patna, Bhojpur, Rohtas and Kaimur. In this presentation, information about ten schools was shared by the district education officers of the respective districts. The Education Department has handed over a list of ten schools to the DEOs of each district, after inspecting which they have been asked to prepare a report of the improvements made in them. Earlier, KK Pathak was watching the presentation of the districts where he and his office bearers had gone. Was asked to show the presentation daily to review the changes after their inspection. Maybe that report is complete.

All personnel of non-technical service will be transferred

Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited and Bihar Education Project Council, all non-technical service personnel posted at regional level (especially Accounts, Program and MIS cadre) will be transferred. Especially those who have been posted in the same district for three years or more will be transferred. KK Pathak, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department has issued this instruction.

Additional Chief Secretary KK Pathak has also given instructions to send the office bearers and workers frozen for three years or more in the headquarters to the districts. He said that the office bearers of the districts should be brought to the headquarters. He ordered to make similar changes on behalf of Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited in respect of headquarters and field engineers and personnel. Additional Chief Secretary KK Pathak has instructed the heads of both the organizations that in Bihar Education Project and Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, any engineer or worker who has come on deputation from any other department, if they have been working for more than three years If the term of appointment is over, then their service should be returned to their parent department.
