Bihar Crime News: Near RPM Degree College in Madhepura Sadar police station area, in broad daylight, the lover first shot his girlfriend, then shot himself and committed suicide there. Both boyfriend and girlfriend were residents of Shivpuri locality of Saharsa. According to the information received, the boy Ompriya (32) was posted in Railways in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Whereas the girl Neetu Kumari (26) was undergoing training as an auditor in the Panchayati Raj Department in Madhepura after passing the BPSC examination.
Both were residents of Saharsa.
According to the information, the girl used to come to Madhepura daily from her house in Saharsa. After the incident, the police reached the spot, took possession of both the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. A pistol has also been recovered from the incident site. The police have informed the relatives of the deceased. The families of both have reached Madhepura.
Girl’s father accused of stalking
Abhay Kumar, father of deceased Neetu Kumari, who reached Madhepura on police information, told that his daughter had passed BPSC and was appointed as Block Coordinator in Udakishunganj. Presently she was undergoing auditor training in Panchayati Raj Department located in Madhepura. He told that deceased Ompriya also lived in Shivpuri locality of Saharsa. There was a very short distance between their two houses. The girl’s father alleged that he always stalked his daughter. He was also given instructions many times. Even after being posted in Madhepura, he did not stop chasing and carried out the incident. In this regard, Additional SHO of Sadar Police Station Nisar Alam said that investigation is being done.
Who gave the pistol to Om Priya?
Although the family members of both have reached after the incident, the question kept arising among the people present was who had given the pistol to Ompriya alias Ranjit, who worked in the Railways. What happened after all that Ranjeet had reached Madhepura with a pistol from Saharsa. People even say that the pistol was made available in Madhepura itself. However, according to the police, investigation is being done at all points.

All the evidence recovered on the spot has been confiscated by the police. Since the matter is serious, FSL team will arrive for investigation, which will collect all the facts and conduct research. The pistol and other items have been kept from the spot for investigation.
