A tiger attacked a woman after coming out of the forest in Narkatiaganj, West Champaran, Bihar. The rest entered the house. The incident spread panic in the entire village. The people of the village informed the forest department team. About 60 employees of the Forest Department reached the spot. The entire area was evacuated to avoid any untoward incident. People were appealed to maintain sufficient distance. After this, the team rescued the tiger after seven hours of hard work.
Dam attacked at five in the morning
Forest Department employees said that at around 5 am, the tiger came out of the Manguraha forest of Valmiki Tiger Project and came to the residential area of Rupwalia village of Gaunaha block. After this he attacked Kamlesh Oraon’s wife. However, the woman survived the attack completely safely. After this, Bagh hid in the house due to the noise. Deputy chief Nagendra Maurya informed the forest department team about the dam. On the information of the incident, DFO Pradumna Gaurav, Ranger Sunil Kumar Pathak and forest workers caught the tiger with complete planning. Now the tiger is being sent to the Biological Park in Patna.
The villagers breathed a sigh of relief
The villagers heaved a sigh of relief after the dam was caught. Kamlesh Oraon told that the whole family is scared of the tiger attack in the early hours. Wild animals keep coming to the village every day from the forest. But, due to the tiger attack, people are scared. The Forest Department team reached at the right time. He told that never before had a tiger attacked the village. DFO Pradumna Gaurav told that people in all the villages around the forest have been given the mobile number of the forest department for any help. The team had come to the village on the information of the tiger. The tiger has been rescued.
