Bihar: Munger. Police has come into alert mode regarding Lok Sabha elections in Bihar. Continuous action is being seen against crime and criminals. The latest case is from Munger. Here, on the basis of secret information, the police has exposed four mini gun factories being run in Diara area. Police have arrested three people including the kingpin. During the investigation, the police came to know that a policeman running an illegal gun factory has two real brothers, while the absconding NIA accused in the AK-47 case is the leader of this gang.
Raid based on secret information
Taking major action against illegal arms manufacturers in Munger, police raided Diara area and exposed four mini gun factories. Police have recovered a large quantity of weapon making equipment including one finished pistol, one semi-finished pistol, three live cartridges from the spot. On the behest of the arrested artisan, the police raided Shankarpur village and also arrested the main leader of this gang, Sanoj Yadav. Sanoj Yadav is a notorious arms smuggler, against whom NIA has registered a case in the AK-47 case. Apart from various police stations of Munger, a case is also going on in NIA against the arrested kingpin. He has been to jail many times before also. Police are continuously conducting raids to arrest other absconding criminals in this case.

Illegal business was going on for a long time
Munger SP Syed Imran Masood said that he had received information that a mini gun factory was being operated in Sitacharan Diara of Mufassil police station area. A team was formed under the leadership of trainee IPS Shailendra Singh for the raid. The team conducted a raid in Diara area and caught three people, while one escaped from the spot. During the search, four minigun factories being run in wheat fields were uncovered. Two brothers of a policeman caught in this action told that Sanoj and Mitan Singh have been buying and selling illegal weapons here in partnership for a long time. Police raided Shankarpur village and also arrested the main leader Sanoj.
