After the violence, today i.e. on Saturday, shops on the outskirts of the city opened, but schools have been kept closed for the time being. Additional Director General of Police AP Anshuman is still in Haldwani. He said that continuous patrolling is being done in the affected area. Police force is deployed and the situation is completely under control.

Five accused arrested in violence case
Additional Director General of Police AP Anshuman said that the police have arrested five people involved in Thursday’s violence. Three FIRs have been registered regarding the matter. SSP Nainital Prahlad Narayan Meena also said that so far three FIRs have been registered and 5 people have been arrested. He said that the police is identifying the remaining accused in the case. We are searching for Abdul Malik, who is a named accused in this case. At the same time, the police said that internet services are suspended to prevent the spread of rumors on social media. ADG said that curfew is still in force in Banbhulpura area. However, residents are being allowed to purchase essential goods from time to time.

No culprit will be spared – CM Dhami

Meanwhile, regarding the Haldwani incident, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that whoever is responsible for breaking the law will not be spared. Those who riot will not be spared. CM Dhami said that soon they will realize that they have tried to play with fire. We are trying to remove encroachment from different parts of the state.

At the same time, according to media reports, intelligence had alerted even before the Banbhulpura violence. According to the report, the intelligence had warned four days before the incident that there was a possibility of violence. Intelligence had given prior information that other organizations along with Abdul Malik may protest against the action of removing the madrassa and religious place. It is noteworthy that violence broke out in Banbhulpura area of ​​Haldwani last Thursday after the demolition of an illegal madrassa in which six people were killed. To control the situation, curfew was imposed in the entire area.
