Bihar News: In Bihar’s Samastipur district, a bogie of a goods train collided with a pillar of a footover bridge. The matter pertains to Dalsinghsarai station of Samastipur-Barauni railway line. Due to this incident, a part of the bogie of the goods train was damaged. Along with this, the traffic on the bridge was disrupted. After this accident, railway officials reached the spot. The officials have started investigating the matter. People say that the goods train did not stop after the accident. The footover bridge has been closed.

Part of train bogie broken

It is being told that the through goods train was going towards Barauni from Samastipur. At the beginning of the platform at Dalsinghsarai station, there is an old bridge towards the railway gumti. According to railway personnel, the door of a wagon of the goods train was open. For this reason, there was a strong collision with the peeler of the overbridge. After this the pillar got damaged. Whereas, part of the bogie of the rail was broken. It is being told that the bridge has not suffered much damage. In this way a big accident was avoided here.

Case investigation continues

At the same time, after this incident, information about the driver and guard of the goods train has not been received at the moment. It is being told that the train driver has gone ahead with the train. Traffic has been stopped on the bridge for the time being. On duty ASM Basant Jha has given information about the matter to Sonpur Railway Control. Sonpur DRM Neel Mani has informed that something can be said only after investigation. At present, the movement on the bridge is closed.
