After this incident of robbery, sensation has spread in the area. The incident took place at Takiya Railway Overbridge in Nagar police station area. The victim, cattle trader Ram Shankar Rai, is a resident of Samdiha village. He was going towards his home after withdrawing money from Punjab National Bank in Sasaram. Meanwhile, criminals riding a bike hit his bike and made him fall, after which they snatched the bag of money from him and ran away towards Karghar.

The police team is scanning the CCTV footage installed in the area to identify the criminals. The victim Rama Shankar Rai is also a farmer and was going to his home with cash after depositing the check related to his business in the bank. The incident took place during this time itself. It is said that after the snatching, businessman Rama Shankar Rai somehow got up and raised an alarm. He also tried to chase the criminals, but by then the criminals had escaped.

Bag snatched after hitting bike

Regarding the incident, the victim said that after withdrawing money from the main branch of PNB, he sat at a shop for some work. A tire remained sitting at the shop for about half an hour. After that he left on his bike for his village Samardiha. Meanwhile, two criminals riding a Pulsar bike followed me from behind. But, I could not understand anything. As soon as Takiya was coming down from the overbridge, two criminals riding a bike hit my bike from behind. After the collision, my bike became unbalanced and taking advantage of this the criminals snatched the money bag from me and ran away.

After this incident, chased the criminals on bike. But Takiya took advantage of the crowd in the market and escaped. In this regard, Assistant Police Station Head of the city police station Sudeshwar Kumar said that on Thursday, at around 2 am in broad daylight, the snatchers snatched Rs 4.30 lakh from a businessman and ran away from the city’s Takiya Overbridge. The coal trader is said to be Ramashankar Rai, resident of Samardiha village of Sasaram Mufassil police station area. Application has been received from the victim. This matter is being investigated. CCTV cameras from PNB Bank to the road are being examined. After that further action will be taken.
