Lucknow: Mukhtar Ansari (Mukhtar Ansari) has got a big relief from Ghazipur’s MP MLA court on Wednesday. The court has acquitted Mukhtar in the case of Section 307 of the IPC. The court of Additional Sessions Judge MP MLA Court Durgesh has acquitted Mukhtar Ansari, accused in the conspiracy of attempt to murder in Muhammadabad area.
In the year 2009, Mir Hasan alias Meerkallu resident Chakshah Muhammad alias Malikpura lodged an FIR of attempt to murder against Sonu Yadav in Mohammadabad police station of Ghazipur. Mukhtar Ansari was not a named accused in this. Mukhtar Ansari was nominated in this case under 120B during deliberations. In this case, the main accused Sonu Yadav has been acquitted.
In this matter, on May 6, an oral argument was held on behalf of Mukhtar. After which the court had fixed the date of May 17 for the decision. Pronouncing the verdict on Wednesday, Judge Durgesh of the MP-MLA court acquitted Mukhtar Ansari in the case of conspiracy to commit murder. Mukhtar Ansari has got relief from the court’s decision. On the other hand, the decision of the court is to come on May 20 in another case against Mukhtar Ansari.
Earlier, the MP MLA court of Ghazipur had sentenced Mukhtar Ansari to 10 years of imprisonment in the month of April after convicting him in a nearly 16-year-old case of the Gangster Act. Seven people including the then BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai were killed in Ghazipur in the year 2005 at Basaniya Chatti of Muhammadabad police station. In this case Afzal Ansari and Mukhtar Ansari were booked under the Gangster Act in 2007.
Mukhtar Ansari is currently lodged in Banda Jail. Mukhtar Ansari is such a name in the world of Jarayam, whose terror persists even after being inside the jail. Former Bahubali MLA Mukhtar Ansari is in jail for the last 18 years. Despite this, his name often remains in headlines for one reason or the other.
Till now many cases of murder have been registered against Mukhtar while in jail in various police stations of Ghazipur, Varanasi, Mau and Azamgarh. Thus, a total of 61 cases are registered against Mukhtar Ansari, who is about 60 years old.
