Chief Justice Sanjay Mishra on Wednesday (December 27) has rejected a public interest litigation (PIL) filed against him. The bench headed by Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra announced its decision on Wednesday. The Chief Justice said that this petition is not worth hearing. Let us tell you that today is the last working day of the Chief Justice of Jharkhand. He is retiring on Thursday (28 December). He completed this matter before retiring. Any PIL is heard only in the bench of the Chief Justice.

Sunil Mahato had filed a public interest litigation

It is noteworthy that Sunil Mahato had filed a PIL against Chief Minister Hemant Soren in the stone mining lease case. A hearing on this had already taken place, but the court had reserved the decision. The Chief Justice announced the verdict on his last working day.
