According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of good rain in North Bihar for the next five days. Heavy rain is expected in many districts on Saturday and Sunday. During this, there will be light to moderate rain at most places.

According to meteorologists, due to the low pressure and normal position of the monsoon trough, the activity of monsoon has remained. Due to this, the condition of good rains will continue in Terai and plains of North Bihar. On the other hand, dark clouds kept hovering in the sky from morning till evening on Friday. Light drizzle occurred in many cities in the evening, but the weather remained normal due to absence of sunlight. Due to this, people have got a lot of relief from the humidity and heat at present.

According to the records of the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of Muzaffarpur was recorded at 31.3 degree Celsius. And the minimum temperature was 25 degree Celsius. On behalf of agricultural scientists, farmers have been told that due to heavy rains in the last several days, it has been suggested to make arrangements for drainage of standing crops or nurseries wherever water is accumulated.

The cyclonic circulation over North-East Bihar has weakened. Because of this, the activities of rain stopped in Bhagalpur and surrounding districts from Thursday itself. According to the India Meteorological Department, light rain is expected in Bhagalpur district till August 13. Dr. Sunil Kumar, the nodal officer of BAU’s Rural Agriculture Meteorological Service, said that till August 15, the sky may remain partly cloudy in the district. There is a possibility of light rain at some places on August 12. There is a possibility of moderate rain on 13 August. During this, the average speed of southwest wind can be 8 to 14 kilometers per hour. There may be a slight rise in temperature. During this, farmers should sow paddy of short duration.
