Patna. Nitish Kumar’s grand alliance government is continuously taking decisions in view of the Lok Sabha elections. To woo the youth in Bihar, the government has decided to reinstate the de-selected Anganwadi maids and assistants after announcing the formation of a separate sports department. Now Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given a big gift to the Panchayat representatives. Bihar government has decided to increase the honorarium of all Panchayat representatives including the head.

Chief Minister assured the delegation

In fact, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met a delegation of Mukhiya, Deputy Mukhiya, Sarpanch, Deputy Sarpanch, ward members and Panches at his residence located at Ane Marg on Sunday. During this, the delegation presented its problems before the Chief Minister. After listening to the problems, the Chief Minister has assured the delegation that keeping in mind the demands made by them, there will be a respectable increase in the honorarium of the head, deputy head, sarpanch, deputy sarpanch, ward members and panches.

Panchayati Raj is being strengthened

The Chief Minister said that many steps have been taken to improve the Panchayati Raj system in the state. After coming into government in the year 2005, the Panchayati Raj system was improved. Women were given 50 percent reservation in the elections of Panchayati Raj institutions and municipal bodies, due to which a large number of women came forward to lead the society.

There should be quick solution to village problems

The Chief Minister said that paved streets and drains were constructed in villages and hamlets. Tap water was supplied to every house. Electricity has been provided to every house. Solar street lights are being installed in the wards of all the panchayats. A building is being constructed by the government in which the problems of all the people of the Panchayat can be solved under one roof. I urge all of you public representatives to take everyone in the society along and solve the problems.

There should be continuous monitoring of development work.

CM said to work hard and continuously. Keep continuously monitoring the work done for the development of villages. The Chief Minister said that all of you should keep working better. On the basis of the demands made by all of you, there will be a respectable increase in the honorarium of the head, deputy head, ward members and Sarpanch, Deputy Sarpanch and Panch. According to the information received now, the head gets Rs 2500, the deputy head also gets Rs 1200, the ward member gets Rs 500, the Sarpanch gets Rs 2500, the Deputy Sarpanch gets Rs 1200 and the Panch gets Rs 500.

Vijay Chaudhary was also present

On this occasion, the Chief Minister asked the representatives included in the delegation to take everyone along and solve the problems of the people. Monitor the work being done for the development of villages and work in a better way. On this occasion, apart from Finance Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Panchayati Raj Minister Murari Prasad Gautam, all the senior officials of the department were present.
