TVS Ronin Special Edition : Indian two-wheeler manufacturing company TVS Motor has made a big splash in the festive season. Rival company has launched a special edition of Ronin in the market to compete with Royal Enfield’s Hunter 350 and Honda’s CB 350 RS motorcycles. The starting price of TVS Ronin starts from Rs 1.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.69 lakh. It is available in the market in three variants and six color options. Its three variants include single tone-single channel, dual tone-single channel and triple tone-dual channel. The company has fixed the price of its top model at Rs 1.69 lakh.

Powerful engine and transmission

TVS Ronin motorcycle has a 225.9 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke oil-cooled engine. The power output of this engine is 20.4 PS and 19.93 Nm. It is provided with a 5-speed gearbox along with the engine. Its curb weight is 160 kg. At the same time, its fuel tank capacity is 14 liters.

Suspension and Brakes

TVS Ronin is built on a double cradle split synchro stiff frame. It has 41 mm upside down (USD) fork suspension on the front, while it has 7-step adjustable preload monoshock suspension on the rear side. For braking duty, it has been provided with 300 mm disc brakes at the front and 240 mm disc brakes at the rear. This bike comes with dual channel ABS. For riding, it has been provided with 9-spoke alloy wheels, which are fitted with tubeless tires of size 110/70-17 (front) and 130/70-17 (rear). This bike has two ABS modes, Rain and Urban.

Features and competition

TVS Ronin Special Edition includes digital cluster with Smart Features like urban ABS mode, Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist and distance to empty have been provided. At the same time, this motorcycle competes with Royal Enfield Hunder 350 and Honda CB350RS in the market.
