Ayodhya. A truck hit a private double-decker bus from behind on the national highway in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh in the early hours of Wednesday. Two bus passengers resident of Bihar died in this horrific collision. Nine others have been seriously injured. Five injured people have been admitted to Rajarshi Dashrath Medical College in Darshannagar and two to the district hospital. The condition of two others is critical. Both vehicles badly damaged
It is said that the collision was so strong that both the vehicles were badly damaged and the passengers of the bus started screaming. When someone nearby informed the police, after some time the policemen reached the accident site. An ambulance was called and the injured were sent to the hospital for treatment.
Both the passengers who died were residents of Madhubani.
After being taken to Rajarshi Dashrath Medical College, the doctors declared Israel Nadaf, son of Mohammad Lal Nadaf, resident of Durga Patti Khutaina in Madhubani district of Bihar and Rohit Kumar (24 years), son of Dharam Lal, resident of Vashwar in Varhara police station area of Supaul district, dead. Dia1 Doctors have referred two other passengers, Inderjeet and Mukund Kumar, to Lucknow Trauma Center as their condition is critical. He has not been identified yet. The other five injured are being treated in the medical college. Two other passengers, who identified themselves as being from Bihar, have been admitted to the local district hospital.
Uncontrollable truck hits parked bus from behind
Eyewitnesses of the accident said that around five in the morning the bus had reached near the overbridge before a coaching institute located at Shanti Chowk Naka in Faizabad Nagar Kotwali area. An uncontrolled truck hit him from behind. According to some other eyewitnesses, the bus was stopped there for some reason at the time of the collision.
