These days the terror of bike thieves has increased in Bhagalpur city of Bihar. There is no place in the city where your bike will be safe. This week, more than 20 bikes were stolen in different police station areas in the city. The aggrieved bike owners have lodged an FIR in the matter. After the bike is stolen, the chances of finding it are slim to none. Local people have demanded Bhagalpur police to crack down on bike theft.
Bike stolen from near Lohia bridge
Narendra Kumar, son of Sikandar Singh’s Samadhi, went on a bike to buy Holi items near Hotel Shiva near Lohia bridge located in Kotwali police station area in Bhagalpur. When I returned, the bike was not there. An FIR in the matter has been lodged at the Kotwali police station.
Bike stolen from Tilkamanjhi Hatia Road
Bhagalpur – The bike of Praveen Kumar Singh, resident of Babu Tola of Banka district, has been stolen from Tilkamanjhi Hatia Road. Praveen Kumar Singh told that he had parked the bike near a medicine shop in Tilkamanjhi. When he returned after just 45 minutes, his bike was not at the designated place. The victim has lodged an FIR in the case at Tilkamanjhi police station.

Unknown thieves have stolen the motorcycle of Kumar Gautam, a resident of Balamganj Chhatrapati Road in Mojahidpur police station area of Bhagalpur, in front of his house. The motorcycle owner has lodged an FIR in the matter at Mojahidpur police station.
Motorcycle stolen from outside SBI main branch
The motorcycle of Nirupam Kumari, resident of Maa Kamakhya Colony, Sabour, has been stolen from in front of the SBI main branch. Nirupam Kumari has lodged an FIR in the case at Burari police station.
Two accused arrested with stolen bike in Goradih
Here, in Goradih, police have arrested two accused with a stolen bike. The arrested accused are Suman Yadav and Deepak Paswan, residents of Dhobidih of Rajun police station area of Banka district. Police have confiscated the bike. Police said that on the instructions of the SSP, a vehicle checking campaign is being conducted in various police station areas of the district. Meanwhile, Goradih police stopped the bike rider on suspicion and checked the documents and found out that the bike was stolen. After this both the accused were arrested.
Motorcycle thief injured after falling, caught
With the help of local people, Mr. Pathak caught the thief who was running away with the motorcycle of Satyendra Kumar Pathak, resident of Anandgarh Colony, in the vegetable market on Tilkamanjhi Hatia Road on Thursday. In this sequence, accused thief Rajeev Kumar Mandal, resident of Ishakchak police station, got injured after falling from the motorcycle. Tilkamanjhi police station has admitted him to the hospital for treatment. Satyendra Kumar Pathak has lodged an FIR in the case at Tilkamanjhi police station.
While buying vegetables, the thief started running away with the bike.
Satyendra Pathak says that he was buying vegetables by parking his motorcycle in the vegetable market located on Hatia Road. In this sequence, a person started running away with his motorcycle. Meanwhile, Tilkamanjhi police said that after the arrest, first aid was given to the accused. But on Friday morning his health worsened. After this, he has been admitted to JLNMCH for treatment under police supervision.
