Instructions for preparing voter list

The Election Officer of the Students’ Union has written to the Principals of all the constituent colleges and the Head of the Departments of PG Departments, instructing them to prepare the voter list. He said that by July 17, the voter list of the students enrolled in graduation and PG should be prepared and made available to the university. So that the voter list can be published on 18th July. He said that apart from the enrolled students voters, they can also become candidates if they fulfill the criteria.

These students will not be candidates

The Returning Officer has sent a letter to all the colleges seeking information about the amount taken for the student union. He said that in the meeting of the principals of the colleges and the heads of the PG departments, how much amount has been deposited by all the people in the student union. Such students will not be able to become candidates in the elections. Those students will also not be able to become candidates in the elections.

Only these students can become voters

Graduate and PG level students will be able to become voters in the student union elections. DSW told that students aged 17 to 22 years will be able to become voters at the graduation level. Students who are 25 years old in PG, 25 years old in LLB, 27 years old in LLM and 29 years old doing PhD will be included in the voter list.
