Betting during cricket match in Eden, three gang members caught

Kolkata, Vikas Kumar Gupta: An accused named Sameer Khan was caught red-handed while betting in the stadium during the Pakistan-Bangladesh match at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. After the ICC Anti Corruption Committee team got information about this, Sameer was handed over to the police of Maidan police station. The arrested accused is a resident of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. His two other companions are betting by taking rooms on rent in two hotels of the city. After getting this information from Sameer, police raided two hotels in Park Street and Hare Street area. Meanwhile, another member named Manish has been arrested from a famous hotel in Park Street. After interrogating him, Delhi resident Ashish Batra was arrested from a hotel in Hare Street area. Laptops and betting related paraphernalia were seized from them.
