The Meteorological Department said on Wednesday that due to the effect of Michong, the temperature has started rising in West Bengal.

Due to the impact of the cyclone, it is going to rain in South Bengal on Wednesday and for the next two days. According to the weather office, there is a possibility of light rain in almost all the districts of South Bengal on Wednesday. There will be no rain only in West Burdwan. After that the axis of a cyclone can form. Which will spread throughout Bengal. For that, there may be light to moderate rain in all the districts of South Bengal on Thursday and Friday also. But after that rain the temperature in Bengal may fall again. In such a situation, experts hope that the winter of December may come back even stronger.

For the last few days, the minimum temperature in the southern districts has remained around 15 degrees. The temperature in the capital Kolkata has also fallen below 18 degrees. But on Wednesday the mercury reached 22.4 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department said that this is at least 6 degrees more than the normal temperature for this period. But right now Michong’s attention is not diverting from Bengal.
