Bengal Weather Forecast : There is a possibility of storm in three districts of North Bengal including Jalpaiguri in West Bengal on Monday. There will be a storm with thunder. The Meteorological Department has said that hail may also fall. Orange alert has been issued in Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri and Cooch Behar on Monday. Stormy weather in those districts till Wednesday Rain Will continue. According to Alipore Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong winds at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour in three northern districts including Jalpaiguri on Monday. Additionally, hail may also occur in some areas. Common people have been asked to be cautious of lightning. Rain will be light to moderate.

Chance of rain in North Bengal

On Monday, there may be light rain with thunderstorm in remaining parts of northern districts i.e. Alipurduar, Kalimpong, Maldah, South Dinajpur and North Dinajpur. Winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers. There will be rain in North Bengal on Tuesday and Wednesday also. Rain will continue in various districts. The situation may improve from Wednesday.

Heat like situation may arise in the districts

There is an opposite forecast for North and South Bengal. The weather office has issued a heat wave warning for several southern districts over the next few days. Meteorologists said that the temperature may increase significantly in various districts of South Bengal including Kolkata in the next few days. From April 3 to April 5, heat wave conditions will prevail in Purulia, Jhargram, Bankura, West Burdwan, East Burdwan. The temperature in those districts will exceed 40 degrees Celsius. The weather office said that there is no possibility of rain anywhere in South Bengal.
