This announcement was made by the Chief Minister himself on the occasion of inauguration of Jagaddhatri Puja in Posta. Regarding the temple being built in Digha, he has also posted the document of tender and work order of West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation as proof. He has written that it is clearly visible here that Jagannath Dham Cultural Center is being built.

Bengal government will take strict steps against black marketing of fertilizers

There is a lot of excitement in the politics of the state at present due to the ration scam. Meanwhile, black marketing of fertilizers during the farming season has increased the concern of the state government. At present, in many districts including South Dinajpur, Bankura, farmers have to buy fertilizer at a higher price than the fixed price. Recently, State BJP President Sukant Majumdar had warned of sending a complaint to the Central Government regarding the price of fertilizer. In view of black marketing, Navan has now started showing alertness. Fertilizer traders have been alerted to ensure that farmers do not face shortage of fertilizers. Officials have been instructed by Navan that if anyone is found guilty, action will have to be taken against him. The Agriculture Department has been asked to keep a special eye on this. Agriculture Minister Shobhandev Chattopadhyay has received many complaints regarding this. The Agriculture Minister said that the government will take strict action to stop black marketing. However, the state government has alleged that the central government is sending very less fertilizer at present. The government has sought help from fertilizer producing institutions to meet the shortage of fertilizer. Many fertilizer traders have been show cause.
