The team raided and searched the truck loaded with straw parked in a suspicious condition, then found 228 cartons of liquor hidden in the basement, which is 2942 liters in about six thousand bottles.

According to the information, OP in-charge Abhay Kumar Singh received secret information that liquor was being brought to Bihar by boat from Uttar Pradesh after crossing the Ganga river. After receiving information that this consignment of liquor was being loaded on a car to Bihar, the OP in-charge laid his trap at Bahoranpur Dam of the area. During this time, the police stopped Bengal number Hyundai car, interrogated it and searched it and a huge quantity of liquor was recovered from the trunk of the car.
