If all goes well, there is every possibility that Nepal’s senior national team can train in Delhi and also play some practice matches before leaving for America to play in the T20 World Cup to be held in June.

Nepal Cricket Association President Chatur Bahadur met Jai Shah

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) President Chatur Bahadur met BCCI Secretary Jay Shah during the Women’s Premier League (WPL) meeting on Friday. In this meeting, he requested to provide help for ‘game time’ and infrastructure to the budding cricketers of his country as they are not available with such facilities in Nepal.

There is a lot of passion for cricket in Nepal.

A CAN source told PTI on condition of anonymity, ‘CAN President met BCCI Secretary Jay Shah recently. BCCI Sachin asked him to draft an official proposal as to what kind of help he expects from BCCI. Shah has been very supportive of promoting cricket in Nepal. There is a lot of passion for cricket in Nepal and whenever the national team plays a match, the stadiums are packed.
