BBMKU: After the release of the third merit list, the pace of enrollment will increase, till now only 1000 students have been admitted.

The pace of enrollment in PG session 2023-25 ​​in Binod Bihari Mahato Koyalanchal University is very slow. Despite inviting applications for enrollment twice, only one thousand students have taken enrollment so far. There are a total of 2368 PG seats in 27 departments in the university. Of these, only about 40 percent have been enrolled. In view of the slow pace of enrolment, the university administration had invited applications through the Chancellor Portal for the third time. The last date for submitting applications was 19 November. It is expected that the seats will be filled only after the applications received in this phase. The first merit list of the third phase will be released after the opening of the university on Tuesday.

Very low enrollment in the first phase

BBMKU In the first phase of admission to PG, applications were invited from students successful in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). But there was very less enrollment in this phase. Whereas in the university, 50 percent seats were kept for the successful students in CUT. After low enrollment in the first phase, applications were invited from all the students for enrollment on all the remaining seats. Till now, maximum enrollment has been in subjects like Commerce, History, Political Science.

28 thousand enrollments in UG

So far, 28 thousand students have taken enrollment in various UG courses in all the colleges of Dhanbad and Bokaro under BBMKU. Applications for the remaining seats were invited through the Chancellor Portal till November 19. Merit list for this will be released soon.
