Bareilly News: In the Bareilly Regional Office (RM Office) of the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (Roadways), a game has also taken place in the name of repairing buses. In Roadways, there is an allegation of ignoring the firm which repairs buses at a low cost and awarding the contract to the firm which charges more.
Financial irregularities have come to the fore in the departmental inquiry in Bareilly. After this the contract of the firm has been cancelled. Along with this, Sunny Arora, assistant of the Regional Office (RM) of Roadways and Lalit Agarwal, assistant of the Service Manager (SM) office have been suspended. An inquiry has been started against both these employees.
The matter of involvement of officers in this game is also coming to the fore. The accused firm has been blacklisted due to financial irregularities in Moradabad Roadways. In this matter, an attempt was made to talk to the RM of Roadways. But could not be contacted on the phone.
Low cost firm ignored
This firm belongs to a youth resident of Subhash Nagar of the city. Sai Enterprises firm operator is accused of awarding the contract for repair of buses keeping the rules in check. It is said that office assistants Sunny Arora and Lalit Agarwal are accused of playing games in the tender through the Gem portal. Both the babus are accused that the firm repairing the buses at low cost was neglected. The accused gave the contract to the repairing firm at a higher cost.
blacklisted firm
The involvement of big officials in this game has come to the fore. That’s why tender was given to the more expensive form. However, two days ago the contract of Moradabad region was canceled and the firm was blacklisted. After this, the local roadways officials got involved in saving their necks and canceled the contract of the firm in Bareilly as well. Along with this, two employees have been suspended.
The firm is responsible for the repair of buses and other facilities
Sai Enterprises was given the contract to provide staff and other facilities for repairing buses in the workshops of Bareilly and Moradabad regions. However, the contract of the firm has been canceled after the game opened in the departmental inquiry.
Responsible officers may fall
Deepak Chaudhary, RM of Bareilly region, was earlier RM in Moradabad. It was during his tenure that Sai Enterprises got the contract to repair buses in Moradabad region. He was transferred to Bareilly region. He also gave the contract to repair buses to the accused firm in Bareilly. Due to this, it is expected that action will be taken against the senior officers as well.
